About the job

Requirements
  • You must be a qualified legal professional with around 4+ years of post-qualification experience, ideally combining a top-tier law firm background with in-house experience in a technology, SaaS, or scaling business.
  • You must have drafted and negotiated complex B2B or enterprise SaaS agreements, including master services agreements, data processing agreements, service-level agreements, and licensing agreements, and be able to protect the commercial position while getting deals signed.
  • You must have run or played a leading role in acquisitions, including due diligence, share or asset purchase agreement negotiation, and post-close integration; buy-and-build or investor-backed experience is ideal.
  • You must be comfortable working across Polish, EU, and UK law, and ideally German law; know when to engage local counsel; and manage external firms efficiently.
  • You must have hands-on experience with EU and UK GDPR and an understanding of new EU technology regulation such as the EU Data Act.
  • You must give clear, practical answers, take a pragmatic approach to risk, and be comfortable building a function from scratch as a team of one.
  • You must be fluent in English and able to negotiate, draft, and present confidently in English with customers, investors, the Board, and colleagues.
Responsibilities
  • Own the customer-facing contract suite—including master services agreements, order forms, data processing agreements, end-user licence agreements, EU Data Act addenda, security policies, statements of work, and supplemental terms and conditions—and make the documents complete, consistent, and easy for Sales to use.
  • Lead redlines and negotiations on larger and more complex enterprise deals, protecting the commercial position on billing and implementation triggers, liability, service scope, and payment terms while shortening sales cycles.
  • Build a contract governance model covering document ownership, approval rights, negotiation limits and fallback positions, version control, review cadence, and which provisions are Group-standard or country-specific.
  • Deliver compliant local contract versions where required, starting with German master services agreements, end-user licence agreements, data processing addenda, order forms, statements of work, and security policies.
  • Provide legal input on tenders, public and enterprise procurement requirements, and customer security and compliance questionnaires.
  • Handle day-to-day non-disclosure agreements and partner, supplier, and vendor contracts, including HR and technology vendors, and third-party liaison, primarily through templates and playbooks the business can use independently.
  • Lead legal due diligence, deal structuring, transaction documents, and negotiations for acquisitions, working with investors, Finance, and external advisers.
  • Own post-close legal integration by aligning contracts, entities, software licensing agreements, and policies of acquired businesses with Group standards.
  • Work with People & Culture to ensure employees of acquired companies receive appropriate contracts, pay, and benefits, and ensure restructuring or redundancy processes are legally sound in each jurisdiction.
  • Build a repeatable M&A playbook to make each transaction faster, cheaper, and more consistent.
  • Own a coherent compliance framework across UK and EU GDPR, the EU Data Act, sector-specific data handling for enterprise clients, and other obligations, resolving overlaps and conflicts between regimes.
  • Own data protection matters, including employee data, and work with the Data Protection and IT Security lead and People & Culture; oversee data subject access requests, data processing terms, and customer security commitments.
  • Track changes in Polish, EU, UK, and German law that affect the business, flag changes early, and provide regular, clear legal updates to the Executive Leadership Team and Board.
  • Proactively handle pre-litigation, litigation, and regulatory matters, using external support as appropriate.
  • Partner with People & Culture across Poland, the UK, and DACH on employment contracts, settlement agreements, formal complaints and grievances, ACAS and other employment disputes, and threatened legal action.
  • Review and approve HR and Group policies to ensure they are legally sound in every country where the Group operates.
  • Set a consistent approach to immigration and right-to-work matters and manage external providers.
  • Support Board and shareholder matters and entity management across jurisdictions, maintaining a clean legal structure ready for investor and future-buyer scrutiny.
  • Ensure intellectual property across Group companies is properly owned, registered where relevant, and protected in contracts.
  • Align Group companies’ software licensing agreements into a consistent approach kept up to date with GDPR and governance requirements.
  • Own legal risk, replace single points of failure with clear escalation routes, and enable faster decisions on contractual and regulatory exposure.
  • Create a clear legal intake process with self-service templates, FAQs, and guidance for low-risk matters.
  • Build and manage a panel of external law firms, decide which work is handled in-house or externally, keep external work focused and commercial, and own the legal budget.
  • Train Sales, Customer Success, People & Culture, and leaders on legal basics relevant to their day-to-day work.
  • In the first 90 days, establish a clear view of legal risks and priorities, a simple way for the business to engage legal, and an approved plan for the contract suite.
  • Within 12 months, deliver a complete, version-controlled contract suite with an adopted governance model, faster enterprise deal cycles, a Group compliance framework with regular Board updates, lower and more predictable external legal spend, and a repeatable M&A and integration playbook.
Desired Qualifications
  • Polish and/or German language skills, or experience with DACH contracts and employment law.
  • Employment law experience across Poland, the UK, and/or Germany.
  • Intellectual property and software licensing expertise.
  • Experience in PropTech, facility management software, or a private-equity-backed group.

SINGU acquires QRmaint, creating a single platform for managing buildings and industrial assets.

SINGU acquires QRmaint, creating a single platform for managing buildings and industrial assets. The acquisition complements the SINGU platform with a mobile CMMS system designed for managing maintenance of machinery, production lines, and other equipment used in manufacturing plants. This will close the data loop between building management, space, regulatory compliance and ESG, and operational information generated where machines and equipment are actually operated. This is another step in the execution of SINGU's strategy, which aims to create a leading, AI-supported platform for operational property management in Europe. Its foundation is a uniform operational data layer, developed for over 15 years and currently covering more than 250 million sqm of commercial space. QRmaint brings key competencies and functionalities related to maintenance. SINGU, a leading European platform for commercial real estate management, announced today the acquisition of QRmaint, one of the fastest-growing companies in Europe offering CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Software) solutions. QRmaint's mobile software is used by over 700 organizations, ensuring equipment uptime. Thanks to this transaction, SINGU expands its scope from building management to the machines and industrial equipment within them, offering comprehensive support for the operation, maintenance, and modernization of physical assets throughout their lifecycle. The transaction reflects a broader trend observed in the building operations software market. Enterprise-class systems for planning and managing assets are increasingly being integrated with tools used by maintenance teams, creating a single cohesive data flow. SINGU already supports building management, space, regulatory compliance, and ESG across over 40 markets. QRmaint brings to this ecosystem the most detailed operational data generated by technicians performing inspections, executing service orders, and conducting reactive and predictive actions directly on production floors. As a result, a unified data layer covering both the building and its assets is created. It is this unified data that powers SINGU's AI solutions. The more complete and better connected it is, the more effectively the platform predicts failures, prioritizes work, and recommends actions across entire property portfolios. "Building management systems and solutions ensuring the smooth operation of equipment within them have operated independently for years. The data they collected was similarly dispersed," emphasizes Paweł Malon, Group CEO of SINGU. "SINGU manages assets at the building or entire portfolio level, while QRmaint records everything that happens on the production floor, minute by minute, every day. Together, we create one solution and one coherent picture of the physical world, from building infrastructure to the machine in front of the operator. It is on this comprehensive data that our AI solutions are based, and it is also the foundation for further development of the entire industry." QRmaint, developed for manufacturing companies, industrial plants, and internal maintenance teams, will continue to operate under the brand QRmaint by SINGU. Customers will retain access to the same tools and support, and the multilingual mobile application will become part of the SINGU Group operating in over 40 markets. Both companies were founded in Krakow. Since then, SINGU has expanded its operations, opening offices in Poland, Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, Mexico, Australia, and Cyprus. With QRmaint's competencies in maintenance, the Group accelerates the construction of a global platform for building and industrial asset management. "Joining QRmaint with SINGU opens a new chapter in the development of our technology. By combining the competencies of both teams, we will develop the product and AI solutions even faster, which truly support maintenance teams. Our ambition is clear: we want our platform to become number one in the European market," said Daniel Kiełbowicz and Przemysław Parzoch, co-founders of QRmaint. The acquisition of QRmaint brings SINGU closer to achieving its ambitious goal of creating the largest platform for operational building management in Europe, a comprehensive system covering both commercial real estate portfolios and individual production lines. SINGU is a pan-European CAFM platform supporting property management, integrating technical maintenance, asset management, and ESG into a single system enhanced with AI-based solutions. The platform is used by companies in the logistics, retail, healthcare, and commercial real estate sectors. SINGU supports over 135,000 users and 1,800 corporate clients, managing space exceeding 250 million sqm across over 40 markets. The SINGU Group includes: Micad by SINGU, net-haus by SINGU, Synbiotix by SINGU, and - after the completion of this transaction - QRmaint by SINGU, a dedicated CMMS solution for maintenance teams.
