About the job

Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex technical products, particularly those involving large language models, artificial intelligence agents, workflow systems, developer platforms, machine learning infrastructure, or AI-driven applications.
  • Strong understanding of large language model agents, tool use, orchestration, multi-agent workflows, state management, context management, and architectural patterns for operating agentic systems reliably at scale.
  • Experience designing or working with context graphs, knowledge graphs, semantic systems, memory architectures, metadata platforms, or other systems that enable applications and models to understand relationships between users, data, actions, and business objects.
  • Strong understanding of instrumentation, telemetry, evaluation, and observability for complex software or AI systems, including the ability to define signals that distinguish model, orchestration, context, tool, and user-experience failures.
  • Ability to align senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams around shared technical architecture, product priorities, ownership boundaries, and operating standards, including initiatives where no single team controls the entire outcome.
  • Ability to reason across product experience, model behavior, data, infrastructure, application programming interfaces, organizational ownership, and operational processes rather than optimizing individual components in isolation.
  • Strong technical background with hands-on familiarity with tools such as LangSmith and experience working with application programming interfaces, workflow orchestration, large language model agent chaining, Model Context Protocol, evaluation frameworks, and modern AI development environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot ambiguous technical problems, rapidly prototype potential solutions, and translate experimentation into scalable product and architectural decisions.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage the architecture for chaining large language model agents, tools, models, and workflows across complex use cases, ensuring seamless orchestration, handoffs, state management, and platform integration.
  • Lead development of a shared Context Graph that gives agents persistent awareness of users, brands, accounts, workflows, capabilities, data, prior actions, goals, and outcomes; define how context is captured, structured, retrieved, governed, and made available across agents and products.
  • Implement and manage context streaming services that provide agents with real-time awareness of user actions, application state, system events, and relevant business data, ensuring context remains current, permission-aware, and usable across multi-step workflows.
  • Define the telemetry framework for understanding agent operation in production. Instrument and analyze intent routing, agent and tool selection, context utilization, handoffs, latency, errors, completion rates, confidence, user interventions, and business outcomes, and build feedback loops to improve agent performance continuously.
  • Build evaluation frameworks for testing agent quality, reliability, routing, context utilization, tool execution, and end-to-end workflow completion, establishing offline and production evaluation methods that enable measurable improvements over time.
  • Lead creation of a Model Workbench for marketers and other non-technical users to safely use large language models, traditional machine learning, agents, and workflows without deep technical expertise.
  • Oversee registration, documentation, governance, and discoverability of Model Context Protocol servers, tools, agents, and platform capabilities so developers and agents can understand, select, and invoke capabilities correctly.
  • Align Product, Engineering, Data Science, Design, Analytics, Security, and business stakeholders around shared agentic architecture, context standards, ownership models, evaluation criteria, and platform priorities; establish accountability and operating models for capabilities spanning multiple teams.
  • Define standards for building and integrating agents, tools, context sources, telemetry, and workflows across the organization, balancing local team autonomy with a coherent platform experience.
  • Troubleshoot and debug using tools such as LangSmith and related observability platforms; rapidly build proof-of-concepts to validate technical approaches, identify architectural constraints, and demonstrate product opportunities.
  • Promote rapid prototyping, experimentation, and evidence-based iteration; use lightweight development and vibe coding where appropriate to turn ideas into working experiences before production-scale investment.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience building or operating agentic infrastructure, AI platforms, context platforms, knowledge graphs, or developer ecosystems.
  • Experience integrating traditional machine learning with generative models and agentic systems, including using predictive models as tools or contextual inputs for agents.
  • Experience with workflow orchestration platforms and distributed systems involving multiple services, teams, and execution environments.
  • Experience designing AI telemetry, evaluation systems, experimentation frameworks, or production observability for large language model-powered products.
  • Demonstrated success establishing cross-functional technical standards and governance across multiple engineering and product organizations.
  • Experience building systems where context, telemetry, and evaluation form a continuous learning loop that improves agent behavior and product experiences based on real-world usage.

Zeta Global launches AthenaOS enterprise intelligence operating system with custom AI chip in development

Zeta Global has announced AthenaOS, an enterprise intelligence operating system that combines company data with Zeta's market intelligence to drive business decisions. Built on the Zeta Data Cloud, the system dynamically organises around business objectives and learns from outcomes to improve future decisions. The platform includes Athena MCP, a headless solution enabling enterprises to integrate Zeta's intelligence into existing applications and workflows. Zeta is also developing the Athena Inference Model in collaboration with Fireworks, using NVIDIA Nemotron for specialised business use cases. AthenaOS is currently in limited internal beta, with public beta expected later this year and general availability planned for Q1 2027. Zeta has also begun exploring development of a specialised chip with semiconductor partners to deliver faster intelligence through a capital-light approach.
