Kyndryl named a Leader in the IDC MarketScape for Worldwide Digital Workplace Services 2026.

Kyndryl named a Leader in the IDC MarketScape for Worldwide Digital Workplace Services 2026. PR Newswire Today at 6:00am PDT NEW YORK, Oct. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - Kyndryl (NYSE: KD), a leading provider of mission-critical enterprise technology services, today announced that it has been named a Leader in the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Digital Workplace Services 2026 Vendor Assessment (#US54119026, September 2026). The assessment evaluated 18 worldwide digital workplace services (DWS) providers on capability breadth, GenAI and agentic AI in production (in both service delivery and customer environments), and employee experience delivery and XLA maturity, among other parameters. According to the IDC MarketScape "Kyndryl approaches DWS through its Connected Experience proposition, built on three themes of experience, security, and sustainability, and delivered through a combination of Kyndryl Consult for design and strategy and Kyndryl Bridge, its AIOps platform, for operations." "We're honored to be recognized as a Leader in the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Digital Workplace Services 2026 Vendor Assessment," said Michael Przytula, Senior Vice President, Global Practice Leader for Applications, Data, AI & Digital Workplace Services at Kyndryl. "I believe this recognition reinforces our belief that the future of workplace services isn't just about fixing issues faster. It's about protecting the productivity of our customers' people by anticipating needs, preventing disruption and enabling them to do their best work." "Buyers are increasingly judging providers of AI-enabled digital workplace services (DWS) on proof of delivery at scale, not just on vision or ambition. In this IDC MarketScape, Kyndryl is noted for grounding its Connected Experience Framework for DWS in Kyndryl Bridge, its field-proven foundation for AI-enabled operational automation and orchestration," said Pushkaraksh Shanbhag, Senior Research Director, Worldwide Services, IDC. According to the excerpt, Kyndryl's key strengths include: * Security, governance, and experience leadership. Kyndryl pairs an AI-native security and responsible AI framework, with policy-as-code, regulator-ready audit, and data sovereignty, with a mature, contractually embedded XLA model. This combination of governance rigor and quantified experience management suits regulated enterprises running large, mission-critical estates. * Platform-anchored delivery with Kyndryl Bridge. Kyndryl Bridge provides an AIOps and orchestration backbone that the vast majority of the vendor's workplace customers are onboarded to, supporting substantial automation of requests and incidents, as well as a coherent Connected Experience Framework across access, productivity, and support. * Partnership, accountability, and single-partner breadth (customer-validated). Reference clients consistently valued Kyndryl as a collaborative, accountable partner that behaves as an extension of their own IT organization, citing responsiveness, flexibility, and the ability to consolidate a wide array of services under one provider. This points to durable, relationship-led delivery on complex, multi-service engagements. Kyndryl organizes digital workplace transformation through its Connected Experience framework across three core operational domains: Access (devices, workspaces, and cloud PCs), Productivity (collaboration platforms, workflows, and AI tools), and Support (AI agents, virtual assistants, and concierge services). About IDC MarketScape IDC MarketScape vendor assessment model is designed to provide an overview of the competitive fitness of technology and service suppliers in a given market. ZEK extends partnership with Kyndryl to strengthen cyber resilience. Five-year agreement enabling Switzerland's central credit information organization to enhance security operations, simplify fraud detection, and support operational continuity ZURICH, Switzerland, October 20, 2026 - Kyndryl (NYSE: KD), a leading provider of mission-critical enterprise technology services, and ZEK (Verein zur Führung einer Zentralstelle für Kreditinformation), Switzerland's central credit information organization, today announced the extension of their long-term partnership through a new five-year agreement. Under the renewed agreement, Kyndryl will continue to support ZEK's existing mission-critical environment and expand its integrated cybersecurity and resilience services. These include a Security Operations Center (SOC) providing continuous 24/7 security monitoring and Service Integration and Management (SIAM). These capabilities will support ZEK in improving visibility, mitigating risk and maintaining compliance to support the integrity and availability of its credit information systems. "Working with Kyndryl enables us to further strengthen our security posture while maintaining the stability and trust our members expect from ZEK. By integrating fraud detection into a broader SOC and SIAM-based model, we can reduce complexity and continue safeguarding the integrity of credit information services that help prevent over-indebtedness," said Artur Hochheuser, Managing Director, ZEK. "We are proud to extend our trusted long-standing partnership with ZEK," said Jacqueline Wild, Managing Director, Kyndryl Switzerland. "By combining our deep knowledge of its technology environment with proven cybersecurity and resiliency expertise, we will continue to help protect critical data, simplify operations and strengthen the mission-critical services at the heart of Switzerland's financial ecosystem." As cyber threats grow more sophisticated and regulatory expectations continue to evolve, organizations that support the financial services ecosystem need secure and resilient technology foundations. Kyndryl's 2025-2026 Security and Networks Snapshot found that quantum-driven threats, tightening expectations on data sovereignty and aging networks are intersecting to reshape how organizations secure, move and govern their data. The report also notes that security and networks are now strategic priorities in the AI era, as resilient infrastructure, uninterrupted data flow and trusted operations become essential to business continuity. Against this backdrop, ZEK has expanded its partnership with Kyndryl to enhance its security posture to maintain trusted, stable services for its members while reducing operational complexity. Given the sensitive personal and financial information ZEK manages, data protection and security are essential to preserving trust and ensuring resilient, stable operations. About ZEK ZEK (Zentralstelle für Kredit Information) is Switzerland's central credit information bureau and a non-profit association serving the financial services sector. Kyndryl and Toyota Systems are helping Toyota Finance overhaul its IT operations with agentic AI, the companies announced on October 14, 2026. The project covers infrastructure design, change management and impact analysis. The two firms will apply the Kyndryl Agentic AI Framework across Toyota Finance's enterprise IT operations. Kyndryl and Toyota Finance deploy Agentic AI inside IT operations. The numbers can wait. The third major IT services firm in 48 hours announces a named production customer for agentic AI. Only one of the three has shared performance data. Dana Ellison Forkast mind | 2026-10-14 1:16 AM PDT Three major IT services firms have announced named production customers for agentic AI platforms in roughly 48 hours. One of them shared outcome data. The other two did not. On October 14, 2026, Kyndryl, Toyota Systems, and Toyota Finance announced a collaboration to transform Toyota Finance's IT service operations using agentic AI. The project leverages the Kyndryl Agentic AI Framework to deploy AI agents across infrastructure design, change management, and impact analysis. According to the vendor-reported announcement, the agents use customer-specific rules, knowledge, IT environments, runbooks, and operational schedules to identify inconsistencies and potential risks in IT change management. The system runs on graph-based orchestration integrated with Kyndryl Bridge, which the company says produces explainable, auditable outcomes. The expected benefits, all vendor-reported, include strengthened business continuity, improved engineering productivity, standardized quality in review workflows, and reduced decision-making time and engineers' workload. Kyndryl plans to expand the approach across the entire IT infrastructure lifecycle, though no timeline was provided. Akira Umehara, Head of the IT Division at Toyota Finance, framed the work in human terms: \"People are essential to sustainable growth. By enabling the skilled engineers of Toyota Systems and Kyndryl to use technologies such as agentic AI, we can create a virtuous cycle in which people are able to shift their focus toward taking on new challenges and creating greater value. We aim to evolve digital technology into a force that creates the business itself.\"
