Requirements
  • A BS, MS, or higher degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Three to five or more years of hands-on experience in robotics application development, system integration, or field deployment.
  • Proficiency in C++ and Python.
  • Hands-on experience developing and deploying software on real robots.
  • Working knowledge of ROS, ROS2, or other robotics middleware platforms.
  • Strong systems-level understanding of the software modules and interfaces in a robotic application and how they interact with hardware.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy software for robotic systems, including programming, configuration, and validation, across navigation, motion planning and control, SLAM, perception, manipulation, and/or high-level behaviors.
  • Write and maintain production-level C++ and Python code for robotic platforms.
  • Integrate sensors, actuators, and compute, and lead hardware bring-up, calibration, and validation on real robots.
  • Deploy, integrate, and monitor robotic solutions in production environments and at field sites, ensuring robust performance and reliability.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and debug robotic applications by tracing failures across hardware, software, and model layers and reproducing edge cases.
  • Work with machine learning and core robotics engineers to deploy state-of-the-art models and translate field learnings into system improvements.
  • Analyze, improve, and optimize robot algorithms and system performance for reliability and scalability.
  • Build and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and tooling, and collaborate across hardware, operations, and research and development teams to optimize performance and scalability.
Desired Qualifications
  • Strong technical depth in navigation, motion planning and control, SLAM, perception or computer vision, or manipulation.
  • Experience integrating and deploying machine learning models on robotic systems.
  • Background in autonomous systems such as robotics, drones, autonomous vehicles, industrial automation, or similar.
  • Familiarity with vision systems, simulation tools, and sensor integration and calibration.
  • Hardware experience with sensor and actuator integration, robot bring-up, or embedded or real-time systems.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and system design.

Ludo Robotics is an AI and robotics lab focused on Physical AI to make humanoid robots that can interact with people. It combines robotics, perception, learning, and manipulation, and uses Krafton’s experience with game simulation, physics engines, and large virtual datasets to train and validate AI systems before real-world use. The company develops a general-purpose robotic “brain” for socially intelligent robots, aiming for robust, adaptive behavior in real-world scenarios rather than task-specific machines. It differentiates itself by leveraging Krafton’s data-heavy simulation tools and long-term funding, and through a strategic alliance with Hanwha Aerospace to explore Physical AI applications in defense and manufacturing.
