What believers are saying

  • UN 2026 Water Conference accreditation keeps CAWST visible with governments and donors.
  • CAWST's 2026 blog highlights local partners in Kenya and Ethiopia using its model.

What critics are saying

  • CAWST depends on donor appetite for WASH capacity work, not recurring contracts.
  • Digital training can commoditize CAWST's expertise, letting UN agencies and NGOs copy it.
  • If the Accelerator stalls, CAWST's mission-driven model loses relevance fast.

What makes CAWST unique

  • CAWST runs a free practical WASH library and trains local implementers globally.
  • Its 20-plus-year engineering consultancy converts water knowledge into field-ready community systems.
  • The WASH Capacity Accelerator ties digital tools, mentorship, and local apprenticeship together.
