About the job

Requirements
  • 5+ Years of Experience in customer-facing technical selling roles (Solution Engineer, Technical/Solution Architect, Forward Deployed Engineer) or technical project delivery roles.
  • Process Intelligence Expertise: Background working with process analytics, process mining, task mining, process simulation and data-driven business process management concepts.
  • Strong Data Engineering Skills & Builder Credibility: Experience working with SQL, Python and building data pipelines and API integrations.
  • AI Fluency: Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, and agentic orchestration frameworks.
  • Sales Instinct & Commercial Curiosity: An understanding of how pre-sales fits into a complex enterprise deal cycle.
  • Exceptional Relationship Building: Proven ability to connect and communicate technical concepts fluidly to diverse stakeholders, ranging from C-suite executives to IT infrastructure and database teams.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science/AI, or equivalent.
Responsibilities
  • Run Great Technical Discovery: Partner with AEs to conduct comprehensive technical discovery sessions. Analyze sophisticated business problems, uncover real technical blockers, mapping architecture constraints to design optimized "To-Be" processes.
  • Prototyping & Hands-on Implementation: Act as a "builder" by constructing Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and minimum viable prototypes. Ingest historical event logs into Apromore to capture factual baselines and empirically validate the technical feasibility of proposed agentic automations, replatforming initiatives, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Data Configuration & Architecture: Guide customers on end-to-end data connectivity. Assist client teams in designing robust process data models, building efficient ETL/processing pipelines, and seamlessly integrating enterprise data ecosystems (such as Salesforce Data Cloud, Snowflake, or legacy ERPs).
  • Deliver Value-Based Technical Messaging: Fluent in both "API" and "ROI," you will translate working prototypes into solid business cases. Help executive decision-makers across Automation/AI, Digital Transformation, Operational Excellence, and Risk & Compliance understand how process optimization maps to financial business impact.
  • De-Risk Agentic AI Deployments: Help customers envision and safely activate autonomous AI agents. Employing your technical depth, demonstrate how clean process context, clear handoffs, and well-understood workflows are required to deploy agents safely, productively, and within trust guardrails.
  • Deliver Training & Consultancy Projects: Lead and execute professional service engagements in process intelligence, technical onboarding, and specialized training programs for enterprise clients. Serve as the primary consultant to ensure successful customer adoption, guiding their teams on advanced process intelligence methodologies and execution best practices.
  • Scale Engineering Impact: Contribute to the broader solutions community by building reusable assets, reference architectures, demo innovations, and mentoring junior Solution Engineers.
Desired Qualifications
  • An outstanding blend of technical depth, strategic business acumen, and low-ego collaboration.
  • An agile, "roll-up-your-sleeves" layout to problem-solving that favors progress over perfection.
  • Intellectual openness and the ability to comfortably navigate ambiguity.

About the company

  • Giving back gets paid time: Salesforce employees receive seven paid volunteer days each year.
  • Subscriptions provide a durable base: Salesforce earned $10.8 billion from subscriptions and support in the July 2026 quarter.

What critics are saying

  • Office roles demand attendance: Salesforce's published guidelines require four to five days in person for office-based roles.
  • Expansion brought debt: Salesforce borrowed $6 billion in November 2025 to help finance the Informatica acquisition.
  • Reliability failed during Dreamforce: a September 2026 Salesforce outage disrupted affected Hyperforce environments for seven hours and 36 minutes.

What makes Salesforce unique

  • Partners extend its platform: Salesforce's AgentExchange combines third-party apps, AI agents and services with unified purchasing and billing.
  • Everyone publishes a plan: Salesforce employees write annual goals visible to colleagues through its internal V2MOM system.

Docusign brings its agreement platform natively into Salesforce, Agentforce and Slack

Docusign has expanded its more than 20-year partnership with Salesforce, bringing its Intelligent Agreement Management (IAM) platform natively into Salesforce, Agentforce, and Slack. The company announced the move on October 13, 2026. The integration lets sales teams draft, negotiate, and sign agreements without leaving their customer relationship management system. Sellers can ask Agentforce questions about contracts, generate or send agreements, track renewals, and flag hidden risks in obligations buried in master services agreements. In Slack, teams can request a contract, pull live customer and pricing data, apply approved terms, and route the deal to legal within the same thread. Docusign was also named a 2027 Salesforce Partner of the Year for Global Partner and System of Engagement.

Salesforce launches Agent Allowlist to control AI agent access to commerce APIs

Salesforce (NYSE:CRM) has introduced an Agent Allowlist in its Winter '27 CRM release, letting merchants control which AI agents can access their commerce APIs. The release also adds native agent skills, plug-in support, and cloud-based agent connections for AI-assisted customer and shopping journeys. Merchants can track agent-driven shopping behaviour and outcomes inside the CRM. The update supports Salesforce's push to rebuild its applications around AI agents. However, opening more commerce flows to external agents running on Microsoft or Google clouds widens the surface for security incidents, such as those previously seen in Slack.
