Mechatronics Technician / Electronics Technician - Automation
Hybrid work is available up to two days per week; occasional customer-site travel is required, approximately 10–20%.
About the job
- Completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician, electronics technician for automation technology, or an equivalent qualification.
- Initial experience working with programmable logic controller systems, ideally Siemens S7 and TIA Portal, or strong interest in developing in this area.
- Basic knowledge of automation or process control technology is advantageous.
- Technical understanding of process-engineering processes is desirable.
- Fluent German and English skills, written and spoken, at least C1 level; additional language skills are advantageous.
- Participate in programming and adapting Siemens programmable logic controller systems, including S7 and TIA Portal.
- Support the creation and optimization of visualizations with WinCC.
- Perform functional and plausibility checks on plant control systems.
- Collaborate closely with construction, manufacturing, and commissioning teams.
- Support commissioning activities both at the plant and occasionally at customer sites.
- Contribute to technical documentation and software maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of automation or process control technology.
- Technical understanding of process-engineering processes.
- Additional language skills.
