Requirements
  • Bilingual English/Spanish capability.
  • Ability to handle patient complaints with tact and diplomacy.
  • Strong working knowledge of health management and service delivery.
  • Working knowledge of and experience with the culture of the organization's patient population.
  • Strong communication and team-building skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Word and spreadsheets; Medical Manager knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong critical-thinking and analytical skills.
  • High organization and attention to detail.
  • Strong mathematics skills.
  • Self-initiative and adaptability.
  • Ability to work in compliance with the Nurse Practice Act of the State of New Mexico.
  • Current New Mexico registered nurse license.
  • A Bachelor's degree and at least one year of full-time behavioral health work experience, plus one year of supervisory experience; alternatively, an Associate's degree and at least six years of full-time behavioral health work experience.
  • One year of supervisory experience.
Responsibilities
  • Provide programmatic support and oversight, including staff assignments, file compliance, staff support, and medication support.
  • Ensure the effective provision of services and provide administrative supervision of the team.
  • Provide services to adult mental health patients.
  • Assist in developing, evaluating, and coordinating treatment plans and recovery services.
  • Provide support when the ACT Team Lead or Director is unavailable.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Medical Manager.
