Gloo launches Gloo Code with 58-67% lower costs than frontier AI models

Gloo, a technology platform for faith-based organisations, has launched Gloo Code, an agentic coding tool within its AI Studio. The product pairs purpose-built agents with appropriate models for different development tasks to optimise token usage and reduce costs. In preliminary testing on Terminal-Bench 2.1, Gloo Code achieved approximately 70% accuracy at half the cost of comparable frontier models, including Gemini 3 Pro, Anthropic's Sonnet 5, and OpenAI 5.6 Luna. The tool completed the benchmark at 58% to 67% lower cost whilst maintaining competitive accuracy. Gloo Code is available through individual and team plans and is being used by over 500 builders participating in the Gloo AI Hackathon 2026. The 30-day virtual build window began on 8 September, leading to an in-person finale in Boulder, Colorado, from 6–8 October.

Muse by Psalmlog wins $10K prize for Spotify-Scripture app

Muse by Psalmlog has won the $10,000 New Frontiers Prize in the Gloo and YouVersion Summer Challenge, beating 75 submitted projects from 365 entrants. The free web app connects users' Spotify listening habits with relevant Scripture passages. It analyses recent listening history, identifies emotional and thematic patterns, and pairs them with Bible verses supplied by YouVersion's Platform API. The challenge asked developers to integrate Scripture into digital spaces like gaming, social platforms and wearables. Gaming accounted for over 21% of submissions. Muse uses AI only to identify themes, never to generate Bible text. Users can share results as "Muse Cards" — Spotify Wrapped-style images based on their listening. Preston Zeller, founder of Psalmlog, built Muse solo in under a month using Gloo AI Studio. The app extends Psalmlog's spiritual journaling platform, which combines private journaling with Scripture-based AI guidance. Muse requires no account and is available at muse.psalmlog.com.
