Requirements
  • 3-5 years of materials planning or supply chain experience.
  • Strong proficiency with enterprise resource planning and material requirements planning systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and lean manufacturing concepts.
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of APICS certification programs such as CPIM or CSCP is preferred.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain material requirements planning for production schedules.
  • Analyze demand forecasts and production plans to determine material needs.
  • Generate and release purchase requisitions and work orders for materials.
  • Monitor inventory levels and establish reorder points and safety stock levels.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and purchasing to ensure timely material delivery.
  • Resolve material shortage issues and expedite critical items.
  • Manage slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams on material specifications.
  • Conduct analysis to optimize inventory investment and turnover.
  • Maintain accurate bills of materials and routing information.
  • Track supplier performance metrics, including on-time delivery and quality.
  • Participate in new product introduction and material qualification processes.
Desired Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • APICS certification such as CPIM or CSCP.
