Builds APIs for brokerage and automated trading

Alpaca builds brokerage infrastructure and trading APIs for financial firms and developers embedding investment features in apps or running automated strategies. Broker API manages account opening, funding, orders and positions, while Trading API connects individual users to stocks, options and crypto markets. AlpacaDB supplies the technology, with securities services delivered by Alpaca Clearing and cryptocurrency services by Alpaca Crypto. It earns money from market-data subscriptions, margin interest, brokerage fees, bank-sweep spreads and payments for routed orders.
