  • Expert-level understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, Community, Marketing, and Community Clouds, and understanding of Agentforce architecture.
  • Understanding of systems architecture and the ability to design scalable, performance-driven solutions, including using AI platforms to evaluate architectural scaling and load limits.
  • Understanding of key design patterns and large-data-volume limitations and best practices, with experience using AI tools to model data distribution and analyze potential data-skew risks.
  • Understanding of data sharing and visibility considerations and how they affect platform architecture.
  • Familiarity with platform authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth) and how to configure them securely.
  • Knowledge of data integration tools and experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems (ETL, CPQ, marketing automation, reporting, etc.), using AI platforms to parse third-party REST API documentation and map complex data schemas.
  • Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies.

  • Provide oversight and governance of Salesforce projects, championing an AI-first delivery and engineering methodology using AI tools, developer assistants (e.g., Cursor and Claude), and agentic evaluation frameworks to accelerate implementation.
  • Follow and help define coding standards, and lead project code reviews to ensure quality and appropriate design patterns, using AI coding assistants to help enforce standards and optimize code performance.
  • Manage technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of Salesforce implementations, championing the team’s use of tools such as GitHub Copilot to accelerate generation of Apex classes, mock data, and REST integrations.
  • Collaborate with customers to develop evaluation frameworks that measure AI performance and business value for their use cases.
  • Maintain target billable utilization aligned to the role.
  • Understand projects and debug issues, leveraging AI diagnostics to interpret system logs and quickly isolate performance bottlenecks.
  • Participate from time to time in pre-sales activities such as discovery and technical deep-dive sessions and proof-of-concept development with prospects, using AI tools to build prototypes rapidly.
